Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new producing method of a continuously cast slab, by which a hot charge rolling(HCR) and a direct hot charge rolling(DHCR) can be applied without accompanying reduction of the yield non adding excess process. SOLUTION: The pressure in atmosphere 6 in a secondary cooling zone 4 for secondarily cooling the surface of the cast slab 2 while drawing from a mold 1 for continuous casting is made higher than the atmospheric pressure by controlling discharging speed of steam generated from cooling water injected to the cast slab in the secondary cooling zone covered with a chamber 5. More preferably disscaling with the high pressure water is executed to the cast slab 2 in a prescribed range (position) of the secondary cooling zone. Further, as necessity, the disscaling is executed so that the max. temp. of returning heat on the surface at the inlet side of a heating furnace becomes <=800 deg.C. |
