Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the side extrusion die structure by which forming resistance at the time of extrusion is reduced, and the occurrence of burrs at the time of extrusion is suppressed by providing rolls revolving the extrusion direction of materials at an opening part from which a part of the materials to be worked are extruded. SOLUTION: The materials 1 to be worked are supplied to the groove of a lower die, connected to an extrusion groove 13 when an upper die 21 is elevated. When the upper die 21 is lowered, the upper parts of a pair of the rolls 14 arranged at the opening part 13a intrude into a guide hole 23. Further, when the upper die 21 is lowered, the pressing surface 22a of the upper die 21 comes into contact with the materials 1 to be worked, and the materials 1 to be worked are pressed. When the lowering quantity of the upper die 21 is further increased, the materials 1 to be worked are compressed, a part of the materials to be worked come into contact with the rolls 14 provided at the opening part 13a of the extrusion groove 13, the rolls 14 are revolved in the direction where the materials 1 to be worked are extruded. The materials 1 to be worked are extruded on the extrusion groove 13 side while the lateral widths of the materials are controlled by the rolls 14. Since frictions among the materials 1 to be worked and the rolls 14 become rolling frictions, friction resistance becomes small.
