Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To separate solid foreign substances from raw laver through the narrow gaps between the intersecting faces of the adjacent disks whose shafts are arranged in a cylinder. SOLUTION: In the removal of foreign substances from raw laver by using the intersecting narrow gaps between disk shafts arranged in a cylinder, the intersecting faces are allowed to move toward the reverse directions to each other and the raw laver is passed through from one side of the intersecting narrow gap to the other by sucking whereby the foreign substances is separated from the raw laver. At this time, the separation cylinder 4 having disk shafts 3 arranged in a cylinder is set in the outer tank, connected to a driving mechanism so that individual disk shafts may be allowed to rotate in the same direction, the outlet tube is connected to one side of the separation cylinder, an agitation mechanism is set inside the outer tank and a discharging means for foreign substances is connected to the bottom of the outer tank 1. |
