Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent residual ice from being generated upon completion of a heat accumulating operation by a method wherein a presence or a non-presence of the residual ice is judged in response to a sensing signal of a temperature sensor upon completion of an accumulated heat utilizing operation and an accumulated amount of heat during operation is determined. SOLUTION: In the case that an accumulated heat utilizing operation at a daytime in summer season is transferred to a heat accumulating operation at night time, it is discriminated from a sensing temperature of a temperature sensor if the accumulated heat of a heat accumulating tank 30 is utilized. When the accumulated heat is utilized, it is discriminated if the last time heat accumulating operation is Qmax operation, 0.8×Qmax operation, 0.6×Qmax operation and 0.4×Qmax . In this case, Qmax is defined to denote a maximum accumulated heat, 0.8×Qmax is defined to denote 80% heat accumulated amount, 0.6×Qmax is defined to denote 60% heat accumulated amount and 0.4×Qmax is defined to denote 40% heat accumulated amount. Heat accumulating medium at the maximums accumulated heat Qmax is 80% of ice and 20% of water. In addition, a control for various kinds of heat accumulation is adapted in response to a type of capacity of a compressor 11 by changing the capacity or controlling its operating time.
