Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism to the dielectric antenna to obtain an optimum reception level simply on each occasion with respect to a polarization state possibly subject to various changes without changing the installation direction of the antenna main body. SOLUTION: A metal-made reception plate 12 is fitted in the vicinity of a dielectric antenna main body 10 receiving a linearly polarized wave in a way of being projected at the side of the antenna main body so as to correct deviation in the installation direction of the antenna main body with respect to the polarization direction of a transmitted radio wave. The width of the correction use metal-made reception plate 12 being a rectangle is selected smaller than the width of the antenna main body or its diameter. The plate 12 is preferably fitted to a rear side of the antenna main body turnably or in a retractable way in the lateral direction on the rear side of the antenna main body The metal-made reception plate 12 may has a structure of buldged out at both side of the antenna main body or at one side.
