Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively diagnose surface degradation, hardening and fatigue at a corner part and its vicinity, bent or curved inside of a sample, constructed of various materials such as metal, ceramics, polymer. SOLUTION: A diagnostic measurement sensor 1 for surface degradation, etc., is at a part where the internal angle of a corner part 2A of a sample 2 is configured, and a transmission component 3 and a reception component 4 which are inside of it, with wedge members 5 and 6, which are in front of them, in between, contact to the sample 2. The transmission component 3 and the reception component 4 constitute transmission angle θ1 and reception angle θ2 , respectively, and SH wave is transmitted and received. Relating to the diagnostic measurement sensor 1, a CPU provided with a pulsar receiver part, an A/D conversion part and a display is connected to constitute a diagnostic device. Relating to the sample 2, measurement elements such as attenuation constant, frequency, wave form, propagation time, reception sensitivity, etc., which were calculated and analyzed with the CPU are surveyed, and based on comparison/decision with decision threshold value of a reference sample, material's surface degradation, hardening and fatigue at a corner part are relatively diagnosed. |
