Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To contrive the way to maintain the proof of validity of valuable securities without being broken to pieces even after it is burnt and still keep their documentary shape undamaged by impregnating a base paper with a shape-retaining self-extinguishing filler. SOLUTION: Valuable securities 10 have various entry items printed on a base paper 1 using an ink layer 2 consisting of an orindary ink and also the mark of an issuer of valuable securities printed using a fluorescent ink layer 3 consisting of a heat-resistant fluorescent pigment for helping discern a falsification. Further, to donate shape-retaining properties (leaving the shape as it is), the base paper contains a shape-retaining self-extinguishing filler in addition to a fibrous material based on a cellulose fiber which is generally used for an ordinary base paper. The self-extinguishing filler is such as hydrous calcium borate or sericite expressed by the chemical formula of 2CaO.3B2 O3 .5H2 O.
