Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a torque detection apparatus in which the initial responsivity of a torque detection is made good by giving a preload to a piezoelectric element and in which the preload can be adjusted with a simple configuration. SOLUTION: Protrusion parts 12a in a prescribed width, which are installed so as to be extended respectively on both outer sides in the radial direction with reference to the shaft center are formed at the edge of a first shaft 12, recessed parts 13a which are fitted to the protrusion parts 12a are formed at the edge of a second shaft 13, and both shafts are connected so as to be capable of transmitting a torque. Push rods 21 to 24 are assembled at the second shaft 13 so as to be capable of being advanced and retreated in such a way that they are situated on both side faces of the protrusion parts 12a at the first shaft 12, that they are directed to its direction of rotation and that they are faced in four parts by keeping a prescribed distance from the shaft center, and piezoelectric elements 25, 26 are arranged at tip edges of the push rods 21, 22. A sleeve 35 whose inner circumferential face is formed to be a taper shape is assembled on the outer circumference of the second shaft 13 so as to be displaceable in the direction of an axial line and so as to be fixable in a desirable position, and respective rear edges of the push rods 21 to 24 are supported. |
