Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain a small size and low cost structure with an improved controllability and operability by arranging two upper and lower pistons in a cylinder tube of extension jack, and connecting upper and lower shoes to both the pistons. SOLUTION: Each cylinder tube 32 of a pair of extension jacks 25 is provided with an upper piston 33 extending upwards and a lower piston 34 extending downwards. To the upper piston 33 an upper shoe 28 is connected while to the lower piston 34 a lower shoe 29 is connected, and both the shoes 28, 29 are pressed against the inner circumferential wall of a segment 20. A wheel 26 is set to the tube 32 so that it can rotate freely, and rolled on a rail 26 fixed in the front and rear directions of tunnel. Accordingly it is possible to dispense with a connection guide to thereby attain a float structure by the jack 25 and further a small size and low cost structure. Also the positions of the shoes 28, 29 and moving sequence can be controlled arbitrally so that controllability and operability are improved.
