Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oil agent for a polyurethane elastic yarn, capable of deterring the deterioration in spinning yield and good in yarn package form by blending a metallic soap of a higher fatty acid with a mineral oil and/or a linear polyorganosiloxane, a branched polyether-modified silicone and an amino-modified silicone. SOLUTION: This oil agent for a polyurethane elastic yarn comprises 0.5-10wt.% metallic soap of a higher fatty acid such as magnesium stearate blended with 0-50wt.%, preferably 5-20wt.% mineral oil and/or 0-98wt.% linear polyorganosiloxane, 0.05-5.0wt.% branched polyether-modified silicone and an amino-modified silicone so as to provide the amount of the amino-modified silicone of 1.3-2.5 times based on the branched polyether-modified silicone and <=5wt.% total amount of both. |
