Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an elastic yarn for separation of high quality having little deviation in deniers in the longitudinal direction even in a fine denier yarn. SOLUTION: This elastic fiber is a polyurethane elastic fiber which comprises plural bonded multifilaments or a monofilament wound in order on a bobbin 10 and contains 0.1-0.8wt.% hydrotalcite compound, 0.05-0.5wt.% metal salt and 0.05-0.5wt.% modified silicon compound and has <=10mg separation stress between the multifilaments or monofilaments wound in order on the bobbin.
