Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To comparatively easily perform digital transmission even in the case of an analog signal asynchronous with a system without omitting any information when it is desired to perform the digital transmission of such an asynchronous analog signal inside the system. SOLUTION: After analog/digital(A/D) conversion 26B1 of the analog signal asynchronous with the system by the internal clock of the system, during the non-transmission period of a synchronizing code to be used for transmission inside the system, these digital data after the A/D conversion are inserted by performing time base compression 26B2. At such a time, on the system side, the analog signal is converted to digital data by a timing signal on the system side regardlessly of phase relation between the analog signal of a transmitting object and the synchronizing signal of the system, time base compression is performed and these relevant compressed data are inserted within the prescribed period so that circuit configuration can be simplified.
