Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record supplement information of the cause and basis of design as a sharing data base and to provide information on supplement information requested through an electronic bulletin server to a requester. SOLUTION: In a cooperation design system where plural clients 1 are connected through a network 6, design outputs for respective design processes, which are outputted from the clients 1, are stored in a design output sharing data base 2. Messages are exchanged between the clients 1 in design work through the electronic bulletin board server 4 by classifying the messages for the respective design processes. The server 4 classifies the messages for the respective design processes and stores them in a supplement information sharing data base 3. The electronic bulletin board server 4 transmits the retrieval request message in the message to be exchanged to a retrieval guide server 5. The message on supplement information retrieved by the server 5 is returned to the electronic bulletin board server 4 and information on requested supplement information is informed to the client 1.
