PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting machine for cutting residues sticking to a residue container of an apparatus for heating and converting a waste plastic containing vinyl chloride resin into an oil and a dust collector for sucking the cut residues in order to readily remove the residues sticking to the residue container thereof. SOLUTION: This device for removing residues from an apparatus for heating and converting a waste plastic into an oil is equipped with a cutting machine 103 for cutting residues, etc., 102 sticking to a residue container 101 of the apparatus for heating and converting the waste plastic into the oil capable of pyrolyzing the mixed waste plastic containing vinyl chloride resin and recovering the waste plastic as the oil and a dust collector 112 for sucking the residues, etc., 102 cut with the cutting machine 103. Concretely, e.g. a cutter 104 provided in the cutting machine 103 is inserted into the residue container 101 and bisected temporarily installed lids (110a) and (110b) covering the top surface of the residue container 101 are provided in this state of the cutter 104 inserted into the container 101. The dust collector 112 is installed so as to suck the residues, etc., 102 cut with the cutting machine 103 through a dust suction tube 111 arranged in the temporarily installed lids (110a) and (110b).
