Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the air quantity of an air-cooled oil cooler without increasing the physical constitutions of vanes, a stator, etc. SOLUTION: In a rotating electric machine in which an aircooled oil cooler 22 is provided on the intake side of vanes 10 attached to a rotor 14, a by-pass duct 13 is provided for branching part of the cooling air from the exhaust side of the vanes 10 and, at the same time, the air-cooled part of the cooler 22 is divided into first and second air-cooled sections 22a and 22b and all cooling air from the vanes 10 is introduced to the section 22a. The branched part of the cooling is introduced to the section 22b through the duct 13. |
