PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform working with high product precision and productivity at the time of performing the edge cut of the opening part of a drawn container, forming the stepped part of the inner periphery of the opening part to be used for an inside diameter side case part etc., and performing the working of an outside diameter part in the vicinity of the bottom of a container to be used for an outside diameter side case part etc. SOLUTION: A preliminary working forming inclined parts 1E and 1H inclined in the direction opening on an outside diameter side, is performed in the vicinity of the opening part of a drawn container 1. The drawn container 1 is pressured by a die 7 with a cutting edge part 7B and a punch 6, and edge cutting working is performed by the parts of the inclined parts 1E and 1H. Or, after the preliminary working, a stepped part is formed by a male die with a stepped part while restricting the inclined part by a female die. Or, a pressure is applied by the male die and a punch while guiding the outside diameter part in the vicinity of the bottom of the drawn container by the female die, and the outside diameter side in the vicinity of the bottom of the drawn container is brought into close contact to the inside diameter of the female die.
