PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a totalization control method for a terminal device executing the totaling processing operation without cansing any trouble each other even when the totaling days of the operator side handling a terminal device and the host computer side executing summing control are different from each other. SOLUTION: The host computer 5 and terminal device 11 are connected through a communication line 6 so that the host computer 5 executed the tolalization control of the terminal device 11 at a totaling time of the date and set by the host computer side. At this time, data on sales date and time is added to each sales data outputted to the host computer 5 from the terminal devices 11 to allow the host computer 5 to output data on this date and at the time, at the time of executing totaling processing of the terminal devices 11 to allow the host computer 5 to talalize sales data between the terminal device totaling processing data and times of last tome and this time.
