Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the wall of a regenerator by a shared wall and reduce the occupied space of the regenerator by sharing a part of the wall of the regenerator with a furnace wall to which a regenerative combustion device is attached. SOLUTION: A regenerative combustion device 12 is provided integrally with a burner 14 and a regenerator 16. The cylindrical main body wall 18 of the burner 14 is fitted into an opening part 10. A part of the main body wall 20 of the regenerator 16 is integrally formed with the main body wall 18 of the burner 14, extends below the burner 14, and surrounds a part outside a furnace wall located below the burner 14 so that a free chamber 22 communicating with the inner parts of the burner 14 and the regenerator 16 is formed. In such a way, a part of the furnace wall 8 is used as a wall of the regenerator 16. Thus, a space occupied only by the regenerator 16 can be reduced. |
