Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface treated steel sheet for vessel, such as tin plate, having >0.01% C content, excellent in necking formability of DI can, and free from the occurrence of necking wrinkle. SOLUTION: This steel sheet is produced from a steel having a composition consisting of 0.02-0.03% C, <=0.30% Mn, <=0.025% P, <=0.025% S, sol.Al in an amount between 0.0232log([N%]+0.01)+0.116% and 0.100%, <=0.0040% N, <=0.0070% T.0, and the balance Fe with inevitable impurities. The steel sheet for DI can, in which the lowest r-value among respective r-values in the L, D, and C directions of sheet surface is regulated to >=1.2 and which has excellent wrinkling resistance at the time of necking, and its production are provided. |
