Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject compound high in silver adsorption, capable of being produced in a simplified inexpensive production process, slightly eluting a silver ion in an aquoeus solution, excellent in safety, antimicrobial action, thermostability and whiteness, slightly eluting zinc and copper ions as well as silver ion and being safe, in the case of containing zinc and copper in a layer structure. SOLUTION: This hydrotalcites compound is obtained by supporting an anionic silver complex ion on between layers of a hydrotalcite of the formula [M<2+> 1-x N<3+> x (OH)2 ]<x+> A x/y .mH2 O [in the formula, M is a bifunctional cation; N<3+> is a trifunctional cation; A is an anion; 0.2<=x<=0.33, y>=1, m>0]. The objective antimicrobial agent comprises the anionic silver complex ion-containing hydrotalcites compound as an active ingredient. |
