Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain paper with pattern excellent in appearance having depth and developing patterns of a soft feeling by laminating two laminates each consisting of thin Japanese paper and a film having light permeability of at least a translucent degree so that patterns and a white film are interposed between them in an overlapped state. SOLUTION: Patterned paper is constituted of lamainates 1 each consisting of thin Japanese paper 1a and a film 1b, a white or metal gloss film 2 and patterns 3. The film 1b has light permeability of at least a translucent degree. Two laminates 1 are laminated so that the films 1b of them are inside and the film 2 and the patterns 3 are interposed between them in a mutually overlapped state. By this constitution, the appearance of the patterns is excellent in depth because of a composite of the thin Japanese papers and the films and shows a hazy feeling.
