Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a pultrusion article having a surface thin layer at the same molding speed as usual pultrusion by integrally applying a thermosetting resin compsn. and a thermosetting resin compsn. not generating heavy polymerization obstruction to the outer periphery of a pultrusion article to cure the same. SOLUTION: The impregnated long fiber reinforcing material 1 passed through an impregnation tank housing a thermosetting resin compsn. (A) is drawn in the preform part 4 of a mold 3 through a guide plate. The mold 3 is constituted so that the preform part 4 is connected to the leading end of a curing mold 5 of which the leading end part has a curved surface and a resin sump 6 is formed by utilizing the mutual curved surfaces of the connection part thereof and an injection pipe 8 supplying a thermosetting resin compsn. (B) 7 is connected to the resin sump 6. When the shaped article 9 from the preform part 4 is passed through the resin sump 6, the thermosetting resin compsn (B) 7 spread to the periphery of the shaped article 9 is applied thereto and the coated shaped article advances in the direction shwon by an arrow 14 to enter the curing mold 5 to be heated and cured by a hot plate 13 and a pultrusion article 11 having a surface thin layer 10 is drawn out of the curing mold 5 as shown by an arrow 16. The vicinity of the resin sump 6 is cooled by a cooling pipe 13.
