PURPOSE: To prevent an overturning prevention plate from being caught between the upper nozzle and a fuel rod by coaxially fixing a short cylindrical guide plate having larger axial length than a gap between the upper nozzle and the fuel rod on the hole part edge part of the overturning prevention plate. CONSTITUTION: Two circular hole part 8 in which the upper part of a fuel assembly A is engaged and inserted are formed on an overturning prevention plate 2, and overturning of the fuel assembly A standing on a turn table 4 is prevented. A guide plate 11 having larger axial length L2 than a gap L1 between the upper nozzle 9 of the fuel assembly A and a fuel rod 10 is coaxially fixed. The minimum inner diameter of the plate 11 is the same diameter as the hole part 8, the upper part and the lower part are radially opened and formed in the outer direction of a radius respectively and the assembly A is easily detachable. Because the plate 11 exists on the edge part of the hole part 8 of the prevention plate 2, and the prevention plate 2 is prevented from being caught into the gap between the upper nozzle 9 and the fuel rod 10.
