Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly perform the product sum operation of complex numbers. SOLUTION: This device consists of a multiplier 101, a complementary number generator 102, accumulators 105 and 106, and adders 103 and 104, and the multiplier 101 calculates the multiplication value of two inputted 2n-bit data, and the complementary generator 102 calculates 2's complementary number of this multiplication value. The adder 103 reads out n-bit data stored in the accumulator 105 and adds this value and upper n-bit data of the multiplication value and stores the result in the accumulator 105. The adder 104 reads out n-bit data stored in the accumulator 106 and adds this value and upper n-bit data of the complementary number generator and stores the result in the accumulator 106.
