Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continuously heat and fire an object without a risk of damage even when it is a fragile substance, by a method wherein the object is accommodated in an electrical conductor container and continuously moved through the inside of a vertical furnace main body equipped with an induction heating coil. SOLUTION: Containers 10 containing objects 9 to be heated are stacked in five tiers, for example, and placed in an induction heating zone 4 of a furnace main body 1, and the inside of the furnace mainbody 1 is filled with an inert gas such as nitrogen gas, for example. The objects 9 in the containers 10 are preheated at a low temperature in a preheating zone 4b by induction heat generation of the containers 10, and then heated at a high temperature in a main heating zone 4a. The objects 9 are cooled down in a cooling zone 5 by the inert gas that flows up through the inside of the furnace main body 1. After that, a rod 18a of a take-out device 18 is brought in action, so that the rod 18a is ready to support the stacked containers 10, instead of claws 17b. In this state, a new container 10 is supplied on the uppermost tier of the stacked containers 10 by a supply device 20 and the heated container 10 on the lowermost tier is taken out to a delivery zone 1b on the bottom of the furnace.
