Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the posture of a roller from being made irregular by the uneven radially outward elastic deformation of an outer ring to cause a torque fluctuation in a bidirectional torque limiter. SOLUTION: In a bidirectional torque limiter having an inner ring 2 inserted to the inside of an outer ring 1 elastically deformed in the radial direction, and rollers 3 integrated into pockets 12 formed on the inside surface of the outer ring 1, so that the rollers 3 are bitten into bidirectional wedge-shaped cavities 13, 13 formed between the pockets 12 and the inner ring 2 when a fixed torque or more is added, an O-ring 33 is installed around each roller 3 to press it onto the inner ring 2 side, whereby the posture of the roller 3 not locked is regulated so as not to cause a torque fluctuation. |
