Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely fit the bearing case of a rotor to a bearing at low cost. SOLUTION: In a method of fitting a bearing 3 into the bearing case 2 of a guide roll 1, a zinc plating layer M is formed on the inner circumferential surface of the bearing case 2 by electroplating, the thickness of the plating layer M is set to a dimension slightly larger than the fitting margin between the bearing case 2 and the bearing 3, and the bearing 3 is pushed and fitted into the bearing case 2 while deforming the plating layer M in this condition. |
