Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable motor starter. SOLUTION: The hysteresis motor starker comprises a start sequence circuit 6 where hysteresis motors 41, 42 are started by delivering a close command to a switch 2, power supply to the hysteresis motors 41, 42 is interrupted by delivering an open command to the switch 2 upon elapsing a predetermined time T1 while hysteresis motors 51, 52 are started by delivering a close command to a switch 3, power supply to the hysteresis motors 51, 52 is interrupted by delivering an open command to the switch 3 upon further elapsing a predetermined time T2, power is fed again to the hysteresis motors 41, 42, 51, 52 by delivering a close command to the switches 2, 3 upon further elapsing a predetermined time (t) to sustain the starting operation. This constitution enhances the operational accuracy of starter for hysteresis motor.
