Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attachment whose main body can be simply clamped to a main shaft head by means of the clamp of a shank part mounted on the main shaft. SOLUTION: A velleville spring 39 is interposed between a bevel gear 36 for tool spindle rotation supported in the center of an attachment main body 26 and a spline shaft 34 forced to protrude from the shank front surface of an attachment mounted on a tool spindle rotating and main shaft 22 and to penetrate the center of a bevel gear 36. And when the shank is pulled up by means of a collet 25, this velleville spring 39 is compressed and by means of the elastically repelling force of this spring, the attachment main body 26 is meshed with a coupling 21 provided on the end surface of a main shaft ram 7 and the coupling 29 of the attachment main body 26 and fixture of the shank in the main shaft hole and fixture of the attachment to a main shaft head are carried out in one action. Accordingly, any particular member is made unnecessary for clamping.
