Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make pulsation possible to be surely and sharply damped. SOLUTION: The pipe line 121 of a pulsation damping device 12 is connected to piping 3, and pulsation at a fixed position P1 is detected by a pulsation sensor 122. An arithmetic unit 124 computes pressure fluid generated from a pulsation damping actuator 126 on the detected value of the pulsation sensor 122 and piping characteristic between fixed positions P1 -P2 . When the pulsation damping actuator 126 is driven through a controller 125 according to the result of above operation, at the fixed position P2 , the pulsation having been transmitted there interferes with pressure fluid generated in the pulsation damping actuator 126 and is damped. In the case where the pulsation is not sufficiently damped, the pulsation is detected at the fixed position P3 by a pulsation sensor 123, and its feedback is carried out to the arithmetic unit 124 for correcting the value of piping characteristic or compensating the output value to the controller 125.
