Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and device for highly efficiently and sufficiently cleaning the surface of a wire supplied from a wire working device. SOLUTION: Winding parts are successively formed to the wire W and while the wire is transported by shifting these winding parts to one direction each and laminating the winding parts on each other (looped state), the wire is immersed in an electrolyte 21 contg. hydrofluoric acid and nitric acid. Current is passed via the electrolyte 21 between electrodes 24 to 25 arranged in the electrolyte 21 and the wire W, by which the surface of the wire W is electrolytically washed. The energization direction to the wire is inverted at prescribed periods by an energization control means. |
