Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively dissipate heat generated from the side of a transformer coil and reduce the noise level of a cooling fan by providing a cooling unit with a heat transport element and a heat sink and arranging a cooling fan at an air suction side of a heat sink. SOLUTION: A transformer coil 6 generates heat by energization and the temperature rises. The heat is transmitted to an insulating oil 3 and the temperature rises. Heat transmitted to the insulation oil 3 is transfered to a heat sink 2 from a heat transfer element 1 by natural convection of the oil 3 and is dissipated naturally by the heat sink 2. At the same time, since air is supplied from an air suction side of the heat sink 2 by rotation of the cooling fan 4 and the heat sink 2 is cooled forcibly, the temperature rise of the insulating oil 3 and the transformer coil 6 is restrained. Since the cooling fan 4 is arranged at a suction side of the heat sink 2, air flow at an air blow side is adjusted, the heat sink 2 reduces flow rate of air and the noise level is reduced.
