Summary: | PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an antistatic agent excellent in antistatic effect and durability comprising a polyether-ester urethane bearing ether linkages, ester linkages and urethane linkages. SOLUTION: This agent comprises a polyether-ester urethane bearing ether linkages, ester linkages and urethane linkages. The polyether-ester urethane is preferably prepared from (A) 40-80wt.% of a poly (alkylene) glycol, (B) 3-20wt.% of a glycol other than the component A, (C) 13-55wt.% of a polycarboxylic acid selected from 4-20C polycarboxylic acids, their anhydrides and their esters and (D) 0.5-20wt.% of an organic polyisocyanate. In a preferred embodiment, the component A is a poly (ethylene oxide) glycol, the component B is ethylene glycol or 1,4-butanedol, the component C is terephthalic acid and its dimethyl ester and the component D is hexamethylene diisocyanate. |
