Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize radio resources by suitably displaying standby time by performing prescribed display when display data are transmitted and these display data are displayed on slave equipment but are not transmitted. SOLUTION: When a user at slave equipment 1a off-hooks a receiver, this is detected by a control part 110, a report signal is transmitted through a radio part 130 to a base unit 2 and at the same time, date and time data 122 stored in a memory 120 are read out and displayed. The base unit 2 reads a speaking end processing program 221 from a memory 220 while using a control part 210 and transmits it through a radio part 230 to the slave equipment 1a together with a radio line disconnecting request signal. The slave equipment 1a sends out a radio line disconnection confirm signal and during the execution of speaking processing, special standby time display data are outputted and displayed on a display part 140 corresponding to a special standby time display data signal and a date and time data signal from the base unit 2. Since special standby display is performed, a radio line can be disconnected, radio resources are effectively utilized, and standby time display can be made suitable.
