Summary:PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plasma display device which suppresses the temperature rise of each element under the specified value, even if the brightness of PDP is raised, and keeps life long and is easy to see even in light room. SOLUTION: A board 2 to mount the drive circuit of a PDP, and others is arranged at the rear of a plasma display panel(PDP) 1, and it is accommodated in a case 5. Moreover, the PDP and the board are separated at a specified interval, and a first partition plate 3a is provided at the rear of the board, and one flank of the space made of the PDP and the first partition plate is opened, and at least one piece of fan 4 is attached to the other flank. A plurality of intake ports 6 and exhaust ports are provided at the flanks of the case corresponding to both flanks, and also, second partition plates 3b and 3c are provided at the top and bottom of the space made of PDP and the first partition plate so as to block the top and bottom of the case corresponding to the top and bottom of the space.
