PURPOSE: To prevent troubles caused by fiber sticking and high friction during production and processing of a fiber having exposed urethane polymer on the fiber surface by specifying a spinning oil solution of urethane/poly -capronamide conjugate fiber. CONSTITUTION: This urethane conjugate fiber is a core-sheath conjugate fiber in which a urethane polymer is exposed on the fiber surface from its core part and poly -capronamide lies in its sheath part. The method for producing the urethane conjugate fiber is to use an aqueous emulsion containing polyether amine of formula I [X is H or NH2 ; Y1 and Y2 are each independently C-C or formula II; (m) and (n) are each an arbitrary integer] as a spinning oil solution, add the oil solution to a coagulated fiber, successively add a nonaqueous oiling agent to the fiber and wind up the fiber. Thus, the urethane conjugate fiber having good crimping evenness, low friction between fiber guides and knitting needles during knitting of a stocking and good knittable properties can be obtained.
