Summary:PURPOSE: To facilitate execution of work by placing a slope face small-step draining block consisting of precast concrete on the small step on the way of slope face without requiring digging-down of the small step. CONSTITUTION: A longitudinal drainage basin 3 to connect a longitudinal drainage flume 2 with a small-step draining block 1 is furnished at a small step 10 on the way of a slope face. Downstream the basin 3, a bending block 5 is furnished to the edge of the small step 10 through an adjusting flume 4, and a next stage longitudinal drainage flume 6 is connected with the bending block 5. A block 7 as basin lid is placed on the basin 3 so as to receive the drainage flume 2. Thereby the draining is made smooth in case small step is located on the way of the slope face, and also it is made practicable to facilitate execution of work, keep the installed members safely for a long period of time, lessen the excavated earth quantity at the small step, and eliminate the back-fill operation after excavation.
