Summary:PURPOSE: To press a rotor and a stator with equal force and facilitate the pressure contact and separation between the rotor and the stator, in an ultrasonic motor. CONSTITUTION: This ultrasonic motor is composed of a stator 2, a piezoelectric substance 3, which generates progressive oscillatory waves, being bonded and fixed to the underside of this stator 2, a rotor, which is welded to the top side of the periphery of this stator 2 and rotates by the progressive oscillatory waves generated, being amplified to the upper side of the periphery of this stator 2, an output shaft 9 for taking out the drive rotation of this rotor, and a compressing and decompressing mechanism 12 for controlling the pressurized contact and separation between the rotor and the stator 2.
