Summary: | PURPOSE:To provide the optic axis adjusting mechanism of a headlight for vehicles that can be adjustedly operated from the front side of the headlight and has a small number of component parts as well as simple structure, and wherein the relative position of a lens and a reflector can be regulated with high accuracy, by improving the conventional optic axis adjusting mechanism of the headlight. CONSTITUTION:A reflector 16 is pivotally supported to be able to make tilting movements against a lens 11 by a spherical joint (the spherical joint comprises a convexo-spherical member 16a engaged with a concavo-spherical surface seat 11c). A feed screw means is then installed between the reflector 16 and the lens 11 so that the reflector 16 can make tilting movements (the feed screw means is composed of an adjusting screw 5a and screw mounting). |
