PURPOSE: To provide a rediation measuring device capable of diagnosing a radiation detector during normal action by providing a diagnostic part for diagnosing the abnormality of the output signal of a radiation detector, and a signal processing part for processing the output signal according to the diagnostic result. CONSTITUTION: A diagnostic part 22 receives the output signal of a radiation detector 1 through a preamplifier 2 and diagnoses its abnormality, and a signal processing part 23 processes the output signal according to the diagnostic result of the diagnostic part 22. That is, the presence of abnormality is diagnosed by the diagnostic part 22, and when the signal is abnormal and the abnormality is slight, this signal is eliminated by the signal processing part 23, and radiation measurement is continued, but measurement is stopped depending on the degree of abnormality. The abnormality of the detector 1 can thereby be detected easily even during radiation measuring operation. The slight abnormality can be detected early from the diagnostic result of the detector 1, so that the failure of the detector 1 is predicted to cope easily with replacement or the like at the time of periodical inspection.
