Summary:PURPOSE: To obtain a photosensitive toner using carbon black as a colorant and capable of forming a satisfactory image having a high image density and almost free from fog by incorporating a magnetic powder into a photosensitive toner. CONSTITUTION: A photoconductive material, a sensitizing dye, carbon black as a colorant and magnetic powder are incorporated into single structural particles of a resin for fixation. The resin for fixation is, e.g. styrene resin, acrylic resin, styrene-acrylic resin, polyester resin or butyral resin. The magnetic powder may have various values of physical properties. The photoconductive material is, e.g. an inorg. photoconductive material such as zinc oxide, titanium oxide, cadmium sulfide or selenium. Any of known various sensitizing dyes may be used as the sensitizing dye.
