Summary: | PURPOSE:To obtain a heat insulating material of a rigid urethane roam having a low thermal conductivity and having high reliability by forming a vacuum spherule having a small diameter using an expanded bead, mixing the formed vacuum spherule in a rigid urethane expandable with water and expanding the resultant mixture. CONSTITUTION:This vacuum spherule having a small diameter is formed by deaerating a styrenic or a vinylidiene chloride-based bead expanded with propane, butane, etc., in a vacuum and then heat-sealing the surface of the resultant bead on a hot plate or a heated cylinder arranged in a vacuum. Furthermore, this heat insulating material is obtained by adding a polyol mix containing a catalyst, a foam stabilizer and water (for expansion with gaseous carbon dioxide) to a polyol and an isocyanate to the formed vacuum spherule having the small diameter, stirring and mixing the prepared mixture, expanding and curing the mixture. |
