Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a hysteresis-motor driving apparatus which can surely restant second service interruption and sharply enhance the operating rate of a plant. CONSTITUTION:In a hysteresis-motor driving apparatus, an inverter means 1, an input-voltage detection means 8 which detects the input voltage of the inverter means 1, an input-voltage-drop detection means 9 which compares the inverter input voltage with a voltage-drop-detection level and which outputs a voltage-drop-detection signal and a service-interruption-restarting-voltage setting means 11 by which a service-interruption restarting voltage is set at the inverter means 1 and by which a new service-interruption restarting voltage which is lower than the service-interruption restarting voltage is set at the inverter means 1 when a second voltage-drop detection signal is inputted within a prescribed time since the service-interruption restarting voltage is set are installed. In addition, the hysteresis-motor driving apparatus is provided with a restarting sequence means 10 which separates a hysteresis motor from the inverter means 1 when the inverter input voltage is dropped more than the voltage-drop detection level and which turns on the hysteresis motor after the inverter means 1 has been restarted.
