Summary: | PURPOSE: To prevent vibration of an accelerator pedal through vibration by a method wherein one end on the internal combustion engine side of the outer tube of an accelerator cable is locked to the vicinity of the second cylinder of a suction manifold in an immovable manner. CONSTITUTION: A three-cylinder internal combustion engine 1 horizontally mounted in such a manner that a crank axis 1a is extended approximately at right angles with the running direction of a vehicle 2 comprises an accelerator lever 10a arranged at the shaft end of a throttle valve 10 in a throttle body 11; and an accelerator cable 14 interlinking an accelerator pedal 17 and the accelerator lever. In this case, a mounting piece 18 is fixed to the portion, approaching the second cylinder A2 of the central part of an engine 1, of the intake line 7, situated in a portion in the vicinity of the engine 1, of intake lines 7-9 of an intake manifold 5. One end 15a on the internal combustion engine side of the outer tube 15 of the accelerator cable 14 is fixed to a mounting piece 16 by means of two nuts. |
