Summary:PURPOSE: To spray a liquid for spraying such as freshness keeping liquid and disinfecting liquid to eggs of selected sizes in a egg treatment system. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus is composed of a spray mechanism A equipped with a spray gun 2 for spray a liquid W for spraying by the operation of an operation valve 8 and a spray control mechanism B. The control mechanism comprises a weigher which sends a size detection signal, CPU which selects eggs of the weight set up selectively from the received size detection signal and sends a spray signal for controlling spray timing based on the size detection signal, and a one shot circuit which receives the spray signal, sends the spray signal to the operation valve, and operates the operation valve to spray the liquid W from the spray gun. Since the liquid W is applied only to eggs of selected sizes, i.e., a given size or larger, or only a specified size, the liquid W can be used efficiently.
