Summary:PURPOSE:To obtain a molding material which is excellent in scratch resistance and moldability and does not exhibit any change in surface characteristics even after a long use. CONSTITUTION:A material is provided which mainly comprises a polymer material produced mainly from styrene and has ionic bonds. The ionic bonds, i.e., bonds between acidic groups and basic groups, are formed e.g. by mixing a polymer material having at least two acidic groups in the molecule with a low-molecular compd. having at least two basic groups in the molecule. The low-molecular compd. pref. has a b.p. of 40 deg.C or higher, its examples being an alkyldiamine, an alkyldianiline, an aminophenyl ether, phenylenediamine, bisaminomethylcyclohexane, and dipyridyl.
