Summary:PURPOSE: To suppress missing of a recording/reproducing signal by increasing contact force between a head and a tape. CONSTITUTION: An upper edge part of a tape winding area L of a lower drum 5 is formed with one or plural recessed part(s) depressed inside in the radial direction of the lower drum on the outer circumferential surface of the lower drum 5 to be wound with the tape 6. The tape 6 wound around the outer circumferential surface of the lower drum 5 is brought into the state of gnawing into the recessed part(s) 9 of the lower drum 5, where its contact force with the head 2 passing hereby is increased, and hence missing of the recording/ reproducing signal is suppressed.
