Summary:PURPOSE: To improve processing efficiency of a body fluid by a method wherein hollow fiber membranes are wound spirally on a winding core through a mesh and they are loaded into a housing and a fixing agent is poured into both ends and both ends of the hollow fiber membranes are opened by cutting the both ends of the fixing agents to form an inlet and outlet of the body fluid. CONSTITUTION: Hollow fiber membranes 5 bound into a belt-like shape are wound spirally on the outer periphery of a cylinder and removed and stretched flat and then, they are wound on a winding core 6 with inclined faces 6a and 6b on its end parts along the spirally wound direction through a mesh-like spacer 7. Then, the wound hollow fiber membranes 5 are loaded into a housing 2 and are fixed in the housing by pouring a fixing agent 8 on both ends and the both end parts of the hollow fiber membranes 5 are opened by cutting the both ends of the fixing agent 8. Finally, ports 3 and 4 each with an inlet 11 and an outlet 12 are mounted on both ends of the housing 2. It is thereby possible that a body fluid processing liq. flowing thereinto from the inlet 9 of the port 3 can uniformly flow into the end part of the hollow fiber membranes 5 along the inclined face 6a.
