Summary:PURPOSE:To provide an electronic load device of a so-called no power supply type which operates without depending on an external power supply and achieves a constant resistance load test and a constant current load test with high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:Rectifier circuits 3, 4 are connected to respective input terminals 1, 2 for connection to a device to be tested, and power circuits 20, 21, 22 form internal-circuit-operating source voltages VDD, VEE from power that is obtained from the device to be tested and via the rectifier circuits 3, 4. MOSFETs 6, 7 and resistances 8, 9 are connected between the input terminals 1, 2, and the point P1 of connection between the resistances 8, 9 is connected to the common ground GND of an electronic load device. A variable potential dividing circuit 14 produces a divided voltage VSP that is proportional to the absolute value of voltage VIN between the input terminals 1, 2, and a variable voltage circuit 18 produces a desired DC voltage Vref. The mode of a constant resistance load test is obtained by application of the divided voltage Vsp to adders OP1, OP2 through the operation of a changeover switch SW, and the mode of a constant current load test is obtained by application of the DC voltage Vref to the adders.
