Summary: | PURPOSE: To obtain a power supervisory system in which the level of current flowing through a transformer is lowered in the case of transformer contract using V-connection transformers in order to lower the capacity of transformers to be used thus lowering the contract demand while delaying transition to actual demand contract as long as possible and power consumption is limited within a target contract demand upon transition to actual demand contract. CONSTITUTION: The power supervisory system comprises a power receiving facility 1 equipped with transformers 2, a load 4 being driven by the power fed from the power receiving facility 1, a power supply circuit 3 between the power receiving facility 1 and the load 4, a switch circuit 5 for turning the load on/off, a current detector 6, a voltage detector 7, and an arithmetic section 9 for calculating the consumed power based on the outputs from the detectors and outputting a signal when the calculated consumed power exceeds a preset level. |
